Protein absorbency

Don't believe the hype. The next time a NUT tells you your body can only process 25 grams of protein in one sitting--refer them to this medical journal.

"One popular myth is that only
30 g/hr of protein can be absorbed. Although this is commonly
found in both lay and some professional literature,
there is no scientific basis for this claim. It is possible that,
from a volume standpoint, patients might only realistically
consume 30 g/meal of protein during the first year".

Thanks USAF Wife. I had read about this myth on bodybuilding forums but needed something scientific to back it up.

I had heard that limit as well. It's tough sometimes trying to pick the facts out because they all seem to differ in opinion. Thanks for the link.
