is this normal?

I am almost 3 months post op.  I am normally able to eat 2 oz per meal.  I usually eat 3/4 of an egg for breakfast.  I could barely eat half of it today.  I at about 1 oz chicken for lunch and 1 oz turkey for dinner.  I start to feel very full and nauseated. I can't drink alot of water today either, i just feel way too full, but I am thirsty so I keep trying.  And forget about the protein shakes today! has anyone else experienced this?

Maybe you just don't feel too good today ? Maybe you caught the stomach virus that has been going around ? Try to get your fluids in and see how you feel tomorrow !

That generally happens.  Don't know why but I've gone through periods of the same thing.

Thanks for the quick replies.  I was thinking maybe I am getting sick, but I exercised and felt great and when I'm not eating or drinking I feel fine, other than being thirsty.  I hope I feel better tomorrow!

Just a thought, but if the thrist doesn't go away in a day; you might want to have your blood sugar checked. But I wouldn't worry about just a day of being overly thirsty. Happens to me all the time; usually tied to eating out the day before -- I don't cook with much salt, and eating alot of sodium will make me crazy thirsty for a day or two.

I would keep an eye on it for a day or two and see what develops.  I have days like that once in a while so it might be nothing at all.  If you still feel like something is off in a day or two, call your doctor and ask for guidance.
