Just wondering?

I am curious, has anyone not had to do mushies? I was going over my Doc's instructions again and it doesn't say anything about mushies! I go to him next week for my 2 week ck so I will ask to make sure.

I never did mushies. I went from a couple days of liquid right into soft foods.

My surgeon is changing his guidelines.  My first meal in the hospital after my last leak test was pureed lasagna and pureed green beans.  After I was discharged, I elected to move back to much thinner pureed food and full liquids.  I think it will benefit me in the long run.  I want to treat my new tummy well!

I am over a week out and still on liquids. I go to soups at three weeks no lumps bumps and chunks as my doc would say. I think I go to Mushies 4 weeks out. He says he keeps me on liquids for awhile because he wants to give the sleeve time to heal.

Thanks everyone for your replies! I am on liquids for another 5 days. I am definately going to ask to make sure though, that I could just start eating! It really frightens me!
