I've been waaayyyyyy more agressive since I started my preop diet.(it'll be over soon~~ 12/12 here I come!)

I'm starting more arguments than normal. It's weird.

Anyone else having/had this problem?

Prepare yourself.  It does not stop for some folks until after the initial quick loss is over.

Hormones from in your fat are now swirling in your body, like PMS on steroids.

I took Oil of Evening Primrose.  Helped me do my healing time NOT in jail.  :}

I agree Bandilynn....I find myself more outspoken, but in the wrong way.  I have less tolerance right now for foolishness.  I need to pick up a truck load of that Oil of Evening Primrose.....LOL

i luckily am on the low carb preop diet. but try the primrose oil and see if there is anything else you can take otc or prescribed from your surgeon. I get grumpy but i internalize things much more than it seems like you do. I hope you figure out a way to deal with the emotions that are happening and will likely continue until your weight stabalizes. good luck hun.

Yeah girl...your body wants some food!!! Even though you are technically being nourished, you are not getting the same food you got before...nevermind the whole mental trip...wanting food but not being able to have it.  I wasn't evil but I had a few crying jags.  Also, if you are like me, you got some of your frustration out with food...can't do that now.  I think it's just good practice for your new way of life...gotta find new/different ways to  deal with difficult things and emotions...
But wishing you the best on the rest of your liquid diet and surgery.  You can do it!!

 Oh most definitely!  After surgery, I'm a wreck as well.  I hear that there is this thing called "Hormone Dumping."  When you lose a lot of weight rapidly, the old hormones in your fat cells get released and you are a walking PMS stick.  Or something like that.
