Anyone care to donate to my MS Society charity walk?
Don't know if anyone's interested, but I'm going to be walking in the MS Society's annual charity walk this year. Usually we do a six mile walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn and back, but this year we're keeping it local in Westchester.
I've been doing this walk for the past 5 years or so and try to fundraise as much as possible.
Sooooo, if anyone is interested and is able to donate, anything you can give is appreciated for this very reputable charity!

Thanks, Slim. One of my good friends organizes our team every year. Her mom passed away less than a month ago from complications due to her MS. She'd been diagnosed 23+ years ago and according to my friend, it was "before any of the good MS drugs came out" so she had a very lengthy and suffering life punctuated by hospitalizations and chronic health complications.
She's at peace in heaven now, but we're still going to walk every year to get us one step closer to finding a cure.
I appreciate any help you're able to send along!

Thank you for helping with this special cause. I contribute here in So. Calif. Our daughter was diagnosed with MS when she was 26, they believe she has actually had it since her teens. She is now 36. It is a devastating diagnosis and has many differing symptoms.
I will try to help with you if possible!
Thank you again!
