I think it looks like you are making great progress. Myself, I vary my calorie intake daily. I occasionally do it intentionally, but often it just works that way. There have been many times (probably 2xs per week) where I am under 800 calories a bit, and other days (probably 2xs per week) where I am closer to 1000-1200 calories). The rest of the time, I hover at about 800-850 calories. I am thrilled because my body/mind seems to be self-regulating my calorie intake better than pre-surgery. For example, If I have a "high" calories day one day, it is usually followed by a much lower calorie day the next because I simply don't want that much food.

I do tend to eat beef at least once a day. I eat tenderloin or 96% lean ground beef (I actually think it's too lean, but that is what my husband prefers). I've noticed that when I am hormonal, I still crave sweets, just as I always have and that makes it more difficult to stay away from sweets. I just have to keep it entirely out of my house. That hasn't been easy this holiday season, but I take it day by day.

Overall, I think your protein intake looks great and your weigh loss is more than decent. Keep up the good work. The only thing I noticed is that your sodium consumption may be a little high, causing you to retain water.

Your question has made me wonder... I was sticking well to the 800 cal diet and then became stalled for over a month. My doctor suggested that I increase aerobic activies and up my protien to 75-90 grams per day... So I joined MyFitnessPal, which suggested that I eat 1400 calories per day to reach my 150lb goal, and I have been doing that and since joining the website last Sunday. In just over a week I have lost 4lbs, and that's while I am on my period, so it may be more than that in a couple of days. On a few days my protein has been over 100grams, I have consciously been trying to incorporate protein into each meal. I am not sure if this is just a coencidence or iif I have stumbled upon something.

You should NOT have under 800 calories a day.  Your body needs calories to burn calories, especially if you exercise.  I eat about 1000-1200 a day and got to goal in 8 months.  Good luck.  You are doing great.

Please seek help counseling alternatives whatever you can.  MY emotional eating caused a 20lb gain but I didn't have the urge or anything until 3 years out.   You are barely 6 months it CAN in the long run be a problem when you CAN eat more.
