Just cut up the red onions into thin circles and saute slowly in EVOO with balsamic.  It turns this amazing burgundy color and tastes divine.  Great with all meat and works fabulously with goat cheese.  When done well, it has this tangy sweet taste that goes really well with a glass of good red.

i'm relatively new here, but do you do these a lot frisco?  you take great pictures and present your food beautifully.  you should really think about publishing a VSG cookbook (or making a blog at least)!

for now i'm bookmarking this.

Hey.... Welcome.....Have you had surgery ?

The cooking thing is new to me....never had an interest in it past "Man Food" pre surgery......

First I thought it was weird to star****ching Food Television after having my stomach cut out....
But after some thought I really took to it......Specifically, small plate, low carb dishes..... I figured as part of my post op eating requirements and education it was a good idea. I figure if I'm only gonna eat a little bit....it's gonna be good!

I'm an Advertising Photographer and it became a natural to start photographing my food. I'm really enjoying learning about food preparation and nutrition geared to my WL and Maintenance.

I can't say right now...but a couple things are in the works for taking my food to the next level.

For now you can search Frisco and some past stuff should come up.

Oh, I wish I could eat pork. Everytime I try it (well, besides bacon, which I have NO problem with LOL) it doesn't sit well. Maybe eventually.

But man, I love kale. And yours looks amazing. Well done, F! :)

I grew up in SC. Collard greens over white rice with a little bit of pepper vinegar... oh my heck.

Kale looks like broccoli mated with spinach...lol. Does it taste like either of the 2? Never had kale...
