My stomache was really sore for a few days and a little sore for about a week and a half.   My best advice is WALK

Congratulations to you!  What a wonderful way to start the new year.  I am jealous.  I have two more classes and then have to wait a couple of weeks before I see the surgeon.  After that I understand it will be about 3 months before I get the surgery.  It seems to be taking forever.  i am really anxious.

I am 17days out from surgery and I still have some pain just in the very front of my stomach. Those muscle get really sore if I sit up too quickly or move just right or over do it with cleaning. Just take it easy. Walking is a must. Gets your intestine goings again and moving and helps you feel better sooner.

Thanks everyone!! I have been walking, sipping, and resting. I have really been trying to catch up on my sleep because while in the hospital I got no sleep.
