Anyone from Colorado, looking for Surgeon (Denver,Boulder)
In the area.
Dr. Metz is awesomesauce.
I know his complications and mortality stats are stellar, but it would be better to get that information from him.
He's the only doctor I've ever seen that loves to see who's in his waiting room. They have a fantastic program, very supportive. They send you home with TONS (big binder) of info to help make the surgery the best it can be.
Just ignore him if he starts fussing at the computer software. He still hates it.
His Dietician is one of the few I've seen that's actually realistic. She gets that life happens.
The social worker is wonderful and very supportive. His nurse is great and always calls back in a timely manor.
Just an overal great office and fabulous Doc.
They have great monthly support groups.
Okay, I won't keep going on about him - but I could.

The Reverend Dr. Metz did my sleeve over 3 years ago, when I was 71 1/2 years old. I am a Kaiser patient, and all follow-up has been done by Kaiser, but I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Dr. Metz for WLS surgery.
He has a great sense of humor (important to me), and came in to see me post-op in the hospital to switch my meds for the nausea I was having. My surgery was done at St. Lukes, and I was admiited and discharged in 36 hours.
I urge you to consider him if you are getting the sleeve. I believe he also does the Lapband and RNY.
Feel free to contact me if you have any questions, or if I can help in any way.
Good luck,
Fred
