I have just started a new green smoothie routine.  I am in need of some good recipes.

If you have any please share...

So far I'm doing well..Got a great blender...The Ninja...It is the strongest blender I have ever had.  I'm looking forward to feeling better with the help of the eating clean.

I was suprised at how inexpensive greens can be.

I have had a very low Vit D level for over a year.  I was as low as 13.  Now I'm up to 27 for the last 6 mths.  Now on my last labs my Vit B1 was to low.  It seems like my body is not liking the multi-vit.  So Im looking to get these vit through a greener diet.

Any help that anyone can give would be great.

Thanks
Jane

Sipping one right now....

Spinach, kale, flax meal, cantalope, pineapple, strawberries, peaches, black raspberries, vanilla soy milk.

The spinach, kale, and flax are standards, I use whatever frozen/fresh fruit I have.

Enjoy!

Go to Vitamix.com for great recipes. I use a Vitamix everyday and have loves my protein drinks and smoothies.  And for the puree stage, smooths every cream of chicken, mushroom soup to a nice smooth creaminess with no solid pieces left.

I haven't had a green smoothie since surgery, although I've contemplated adding them back in. My go-to smoothie was very simple: frozen spinach (I freeze the day I buy it), frozen blueberries (were frozen the day I picked them), water/ice cubes, and splenda to taste, all blended completely smooth. Sometimes I substituted strawberries for the blueberries.
