Does anyone know if a food journal for US is out there?  I mean a journal that is made for post op bariatric pts. I would love one that has a place to mark protein,H2O and carbs and cal totals.  Also exercise.  I have been using a WW journal, but would love something with what I need.

Please share if you have food anything useful..

Thanks

Jane

Myfitnesspal.com isn't made specifically for WLS paitients, but it does allow you to track water, exercise, carbs, calories AND MORE. You customize what you want to see on your screen. It's super easy to use and works with most smartphones. Check it out

Yep, there is.  I have this one  http://www.amazon.com/DietMinder-Personal-Fitness-Journal-Ex ercise/dp/0963796836/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1327151308&sr=8- 1

It is a spira notebook that uses two pages per day.  Open to your day and page 1 on the left page 2 on the right.  There are columns for each meal where you log calories, fat grams, carb grams, fiber grams, protein grams, and quantity eaten.  There are different areas for breakfast, lunch, dinner, with a snack spot between breakfast and dinner and a third after dinner.  Then there is a grand total section that provides space to total out the nutrition, and an area to do the math in.  Has a section to track your vitamins and supplements, physcial activity, and finally a small area for notes for the day.  Oh, and an area for fluids.

I use this and myfitnesspal.com  The journal is for me to take into the NUT for tweaking if need be.  The website is just easier for me.

I use myfitnesspal as well. It logs all of those things, plus a bunch of us are friends over there and support/encourage each other.

If you decide to join (free) PM me with your user name over their and I'll friend you and let others know to friend you.

Sometimes Tripmom02 (same name on myfitnesspal) does a roll call over there so you can see who else from here is on there. So be sure to friend her as well.
