Things I am looking forward to doing in the summer- what is on your list?
1. Going camping. Our family did in the early years, but it bacame increasingly more uncomfortable to me. Fat people and heat don't mix. Fat people and climbing up into bed over booth seating in a pop up don't mix. Fat people and psuedo mattresses in a camper don't mix. I am looking forward to a trip!
2. Jogging, even if it is just a little and really slow. I just really want to be able to run a little again. Not sure if the knee i blew out skiing will take it, but I am at least looking forward to trying.
3. Spending more time outdoors. Long walks on the nature trail by my house, or in the county park near my house, or .... lots of options. Love taking walks with the hubby.
4. Bike rides. I could still do this super fat, but it wasn't pretty. Looking forward to grabbing my daughter and just gong...
5. Being stronger. I am not able to start a little weight lifting yet, but looking forward to being stronger.
6. Shopping for new summer clothes. I ditched all of mine over Christmas break, and I do mean all of them knowing that they would never fit. Looking forward to buying those smaller sizes. Hopefully I will be down enough to wear a 20 tall- gives me a ton more stores to shop from. Fit into a 22 this morning- yea!!! Seems like a 20 tall is a reasonable goal.

I love my sleeve!
1. Planting flowers again. I had to stop because of knee pain and trouble getting up and down.
2. Buying new summer clothes; short sleeves instead of 3/4 length tops. Buying a summer dress.
3. Going to an amusement park without worrying about fitting in the seats. Also not feeling like I am going to die from walking 20 steps.
4. Bike riding..I haven't done that in years.
5. Taking scenic walks.

Gardening- flowers first, but veggies too (If I ever eat them again!)
Amusment park ride- way too fat before. I think it is time to take the girls to Cedar Point! It sucked last time having to sit out on every freaking ride!
Sundresses- ooohhh, I remember those! I have not worn a skirt or dress in a very long time. In fact, I never do at work and it is all because of the weight. I would love love love to start adding this into the work wardrobe :) I have a lot of scars though on the legs from the cancer though... hmmm, now i am not sure again :(

1. Being able to keep up with my very large veggie garden a bit better.
2. Going to an amusement park with the kids and actually being able to fit in the rides.
3. Biking again. It's been years.
4. Doing my first 5k.
5. Camping, if I can convince my Hubby.
I'm going on a business trip in March. It's the first time I've purchased only one seat in over 10 years. I'm anxious about that a little. I will be until I actually get ON the plane I think

On the jogging, be careful. I'm waiting until I'm around 220-180 before even trying it. It's tough on your knees. Mine have been well abused by all of my excess weight for over 30 years. Take it slow, but yeah, I look forward to trying that one day too!
