Haven't had surgery but I have already thought of this! Surgery on Feb 15th.

1. Going to the lake and being able to wear a swimsuit and not my regular clothes. I can't find one now that fits right.

2. I would love to take the kids to the zoo. I can't walk that much now and I hope after losing some I will be able to do this.

3. SHOPPING! I want to shop at a regular store and not a specialty store. That might not happen by this summer but eventually.

I'm getting so excited! The emotional rollercoaster hasn't started yet. I'm sure I'll be scared, mad, sad, happy and everything else soon but it's going to all be worth it when I am healthy again.

20T just represents the change from limited shopping to multiple new stores now being accessible.  I was pretty excited to fit into a 22 this morning, albeit snug.  The 20T is not a plus size, so I think it is deceiving to think I only need to drop one size.  I think I would need to drop maybe 3 sizes to make it happen.  It will :)  Once I get to a 20T then the sizes drop much faster.  Right now I need to lose 30-40 pounds for one size drop.  Once in the teens about 20 should do it for a drop.  Looking forward to finding out!

Great goals! You are going to be doing all of them, I know it!

My biggest thing this summer is being able to take my kids to any amusement part and ride any ride without worrying about belts and bars not fitting over me! Also, I have my first 10k this summer, and I am so excited to complete it! It will be my first summer at a "normal" weight, and I am so excited about the possibilities, they are endless!

1.  Shorts!!!!! And not having them ride up my legs when I walk.
2.  My legs not rubbing together when I'm already sweating! Chafing.
3. Camping comfortably along with exploring and hiking when we go to all these great outdoor wonders!
4.  Sweating less when it gets to 110 degrees.

Thanks for this post!  Made me dream! :)

Have not had surgery yet, but.....

Looking forward to spending time at the lake being more agile.

Going back to agility class with my puppy Molly.

Showing one of my dogs again with less pain and limping.

I love posts like this.

Being able to do things that you couldnt before, because of your weight, is priceless and the biggest perk to surgery.

You all are going to be loving the summer even more. And im sure the original poster is going to have a blast camping!!!

I personally bought bathing suits last year in size 14 and XL..and mostly wore a coverup..

So now I bought a tiny, stringy triangle bikini, no cover up, and I am going to rock that thing all over the Carribean!!

Here's to VSG!!!!!!
