Oh Happy Day!

I got on the scale this morning and she told me that I am now at a normal b.m.i for my height! Yippee!.

7 1/2 months out and still pushing on. Thank you vets for sharing your strategies. I plan on losing a few more to allow for any bounceback but I am feeling bones as it is.

Work your tool and UNDER EAT YOUR SLEEVE!

LOL!

I'm kinda odd to be honest

I haven't been a "nornal" weight since 1994.

Congrats at your accomplishment!  You said something very interesting at the end that I want to comment on, though...under-eat your sleeve.  Now, from a logical standpoint, why would anyone want to cut down MORE than they had already been required to cut down?  I mean, they already cut out 90% of your stomach...isn't that enough?  But you are exactly right!  I've been dealing with a lot of food-related emotions that color my eating habits.  I was always a volume eater...a big plate of food made me happy.  So I found myself pushing my sleeve, wanting to SEE that big portion (even if it was only a heaping 1/2 cup instead of a level one!).  It's all psychological as I'm not hungry, haven't been since the surgery.  So why can't I cut it down to where it should be?  Why am I still feeling deprived when I'm NOT being deprived in any way?

Thank you for saying that, anyway...it really made me think!  I will try to do that from now on.

Congrats! Wish i could under eat my sleeve but when i do I'm hungry in 2 hours which means I'm thinking of food all day which i hate.  Good plan if you can do it.

Congrats! What a great job you've done!!

I started out right about when you did. I recently hit normal, too! Doesn't it feel great? I'm still adjusting to the new me, and I don't think my self-concept is as advanced as my BMI. Sometimes I still think of myself as heavy. It's been SO long since I was normal. Maybe 25 years ago. This will take some adjustment!
