I've had my FitBit for about a month and love it!  I wear it in addition to my Omron pedometer ****il I'm convinced that they track the same.)  The Fitbit has already motivated me to incorporate more stairs into each day.  I have already established a 30 flight/day goal for myself, which is consistently more than previously.

Like the previous poster, the info breakdown about sedentary time really motivates me to get moving more!

As I've said previously, it's only as good a tool as it motivates you to change behaviors.  It definitely does that for me!

I have no Fitbit buddies, so it would be nice to add some!

Hey! I too work on computers and sit all day. In fact, I got my FitBit free from work because I'm beta testing a new product my company is working on.

I just created us a VSG FitBit Group. Send me your email and I'll invite you to join the group!

I have had mine for a year and it is the best tool ever to keep me on track.  Also the monitoring on the web sight is free.  I bought a www.spibelt.com to wear it around my waist.  If i clipped it to my bra it would surely go through the wash.

Ok Ruggie, why did you choose FitBit over Body Bug? Which is better? My husband is major gadget geek and would love this. I am technically challenged. which is better for each of us?  Diane
