Lucy..IMMM HOME!!!!!!! Sleeved Monday Feb 6th

I just got home on Wed night after being sleeved on Monday, will have to say I had buyers regreat right off the bat! I did throw up after surgery, everyone was in an uproar over this but the leak test came back fine. with the way that I was feeling, didnt want visitors, or even talk on the phone, first night home was uneventful, Thursday was tireing, very tired, and today I feel pretty good. Drain got out the day I left hospital, yea! catherder went out the day after surgery, YEA!.. Tummy was grumbling and tumbling last night like crazy, havent been able to get all protien/liquids in, not feeling hungry at all..some soreness on the largest insision , the other 4 not much at all! Cant tell if I have drank more than I should dont know my body signs yet?? Just dont know.. Anyway, just wanted to let eveyone know that Im back home and doing pretty good!

So glad everything has gone well - each day you will feel a little better - the first week or two are the worst part!

Hooray!!! YOU DID IT!!! Your home to boot!!! So happy for you!!!!! You made it.......aren't you so glad that part is over with? Oh, I would be!!!!! Now, it's going to take a little bit of time for you to heal and figure out how to deal with your new tummy.  You'll do it!!!! Keep us all updated on your progress.

I had the vsg on 2/6/12 also just got back home yesterday but i feel real good except deciding what to eat still drinking alot slowly but i am getting sick of all the liquids

Super! glad youre home and well. I also got sleeved on the 6th and luckily it's been a cakewalk. I feel blessed for this.

I totally identify with the buyers remorse right after. I felt abject misery for a bit: nausea, vomiting, and just an overall feeling of Something Isn't Right. It all passed, though. I'm still having trouble getting liquids and protein in, but after my post-op appt, I feel much better about that. Glad you're doing better. Hope you feel better and better every day!
