How much pureed did you take in at 2 wks postop?

Does it sound about right that at two weeks post op I can eat 1/2 cup of pureed food at one sitting? I feel fully satisfied but not stuffed (want to make sure I under eat my sleeve vs the alternative).
1/2 cup sounds like a lot to me even though I know liquids fit in easier. How much were u eating of pureeds at two weeks post op?
I eat a "meal" 3x/day with 2 snacks of sf pudding w/ added protein. I eat the whole single serve pudding cup at once too. Is that normal?

I could eat 1/2 cup cottage cheese or 1/2 cup refried beans at 2 weeks out. I also could eat an entire pudding cup. I could not eat an entire greek yogurt at one sitting. I could eat a cup of creamed soup and about a 1/2 cup of pureed Wendy's chili. I am almost 4 weeks out and am on pureed food until Tuesday.
It depended on the day/meal. I'd say on average I was eating about 1/2 cup at each meal. I am just over 3 weeks out and I am still at about 1/2 cup but I am able although not all the time to finish a 6 oz greek yogurt.

There's no way I could get 4 ounces in me at the half-month point! Two ounces made me over-full. There's also no way I could get a 3.5 ounce pudding cup in me at that time.
You should consider eating less volume. You don't want to simply rely on restriction to determine your food. Over time, you will stretch out your sleeve a bit. People around here that measure the volume of food and only eat the measured volume tend to get closer to goal.

I'm with Ruggie on this one. I could only eat a few teaspoons per meal when I was on mushies. Not even 1 oz. His advice about not eating to restriction is spot on. Eat measured amounts right now.
That being said, mushies and soft foods can be like sliders that slip right through your sleeve. You should be able to eat much less when you get to solids.

I had my surgery on the 6th of this month, Im lucky if I can get in my 2 oz of creamed soup, 2 oz of cottage cheese and 2 oz of yogurt.(This is not at one sitting, this is for breakfast, lunch and dinner) Im also just barely getting in 12 oz of protein shakes and 2 glasses of water..spread out all day long...I was just at my 1st post op check up and they told me I had to drink more and get more protein in.. I have started adding unjury unflavored powder to my protein shakes.. To me, this sounds like alot...
At 2 weeks out I was still on full liquids. However, I just finished my pureed stage at 4 weeks, and can generally only get in about 2-3 oz's at a sitting, which will take about 20-30 minutes to eat. Anything more than that, I feel the full point, so I try to stop when I start to feel really gassy or comfortable.
