I always wondered if the amount I can eat is in the "normal" range for most sleevers.

I could have eaten the same amount as you.
Not quite all the meat and maybe half the veggies.

It looks delish!

Frisco,
question: do you do oz. for meats by weight or size? if you do weight, do you use a particular food scale that you recommend?

Meats by weight and just about everything else by volume.

The hard part about figuring volume is that you have to guesstimate on what certain foods are going to chew down to.

I use a scale that I had for another use, so I haven't bought a food specific scale. If I was looking for one..... I would look at the one made by OXO.....

good to know, ordering one now asI have been having to guesstimate the volume of meats and a weight scale would solve that. thanks! and p.s. you really do need to do a cook book

That looks awesome! And it made me think of a pre-surgery treat I can get for myself: VSG-size plates. I use the lunch-size plates we have now but they're melamine kid stuff (Bob the Builder, Winnie the Pooh, Cheerios Kids) and ugly 70's Corelle. Perfectly serviceable but definitely not inspirational. Will have to keep my eyes open.

I'm gonna watch for more of your posts too, especially if so many others are asking for your cookbook...
