We are die hard Miracle Whip fans- can't stand Mayo.  I think I could get used to it, but don't see any point in trying.  The hubby and I both grew up in Miracle Whip families and we buy the light version.  Also FF milk, yogurt, etc.  If I can cut the fat, I do.  He is more of a fat lover so if he buys the product it is far less likely to be FF.

I am a Southern gal and Miracle Whip is a sin to me!  Bama REAL Mayo is the BEST, when I can't find Bama brand, Hellmans is my next choice.  I actually don't mind their light either.  Miracle Whip is DISGUSTING, I don't know how anyone could possibly put that crap on their sammich!

Before surgery, and we haven't tried it since, we made a faux Russian dressing from Mayo, Ketchup, and a little horseradish.  It was great on fries LOL, but we had one particular sub shop that they would put it on their subs and it was great!

Check out pintrest.com, you'll be able to find sauces you never even thought about!  I know there is a mayo based sauce floating out there that is like the yum yum or shrimp sauce you can get at Japanese Teppan table restaurants.    Good luck on your quest!  Share any good ones you find!

Same for me...I grew up in LA (lower Alabama), aka Pensacola, so Bama for me too.  Not getting any of that here in CA, so I have to admit to the Olive Oil Kraft that is in the fridge now.  Taste is good and it works well to cut my tuna so it is not so dry.

I grew up in a Miracle Whip family, but have since converted to Mayo.

Right now, I'm liking Best Foods Olive Oil Mayo.  Tastes good, is full fat, but at least is monounsaturated.  I don't use a ton of mayo, but I figure that everyone needs a little fat in their diet to be healthy.

VSG on 02/18/12 with
Best Foods light mayo (I can't taste the difference between light and full fat but the zero fat tastes like hell). I looooove adding horseradish, wasabi, chili oil, etc. to my mayo. Now that I won't be having traditional sandwiches anymore, I figure I'll put some of my flavored mayo on roast beef with sliced tomato and onion and roll it up. Mmmm yum!
The only thing I like miracle whip in is deviled eggs.

It is kind of funny.... growing up we always used Miracle Whip, but my parents always referred to it as mayo.  Then as a young adult, I went somewhere and ordered something with mayo on it, and they gave me real mayo.... I had no idea what they had put on my sandwich, but I was sure it wasn't mayo!  Oh dear, I am embarrassed to say, I had no idea that Miracle Whip wasn't mayo until I was like 19!!!

However.... I have been converted.  I am a Hellmans mayo girl.  I can't stand the taste of MW anymore!!!

I don't know if ya'll can get it but Hellman's and Miracle Whip don't compare to Blue Plate Mayonaisse.  I know it was a southern product for a long time but I think they may have since started shipping nationally.  If not, ya'll need to contact your southern friends and get some because their regular and light (which is the only thing I use since surgery) are they best!
