Questions only for the Ladies......embarrassing....
Hi Chicks,
Before the surgery did anyone suffer from stress incontinence due to their weight? If so, did it go away after you lost the weight?
When I gained the last 50 lbs I noticed the leaking when I had to cough. I have to wear a depends pad now and I want to lose the pad and be normal again someday.
Thanks so much for all your responses

Yup, I always had to cross my legs during a sneeze or a cough as well as wear a liner.
I'm 45 years old and have had 2 children. that being said, now that I'm down 117 pounds I have no more problems.
I can sneeze and cough to my heart's content and no dribble lol.
Another fabulous side effect of our amazing sleeve's!!!!

Weight definitely affects the bladder. If it doesn't go away on it's own with the weight loss, go to your ob/gyn and get the surgery to fix it. could just be that your bladder has prolapsed some (especially if you've had children it's very common to have pelvic organ prolapse and your Dr can fix it all) so definitely keep a watch on it and get it fixed so you can ditch the pad. That's no way to live when it's easily repaired!
Good luck and here's to hoping the weight coming off fixes it right up!

I'm in my mid-30's & have 2 kids (both 9 pounders via C-section). I've lost so far 52lbs total and I can't remember the last time I peed myself! Ok, I remember one of the last few (it was THAT memorable!) but not the last time.
I used to wear panty liners (the Always liners for plus size) because they were the only ones I found that covered enough. I wear them every now and then out of habit because I truly don't need them.
