Thank you so much Donna.  I'm going to be sleeved on March 6th and have been glued to OH for (I don't know) couple of months or so now. Anyway it gives me great joy in knowing that I'm making the best choice in changing my life now.  I'm so excited and nervous at the same time now.  On pre-op low calorie diet and trying to hang in there.  I am going to bookmark this (If I can figure out how) for future reading.  Thanks again.

Best

My surgeon asks us to take chomium picolate with the daily vitamines on the pre-op. My daughter swears by it. I didn't notice a difference but I'm kinda thick and don't recognize good stuff just bad sometimes.
Anyway, it supposed to help your metabolism speed up and subsequently help the pre-op weight loss.

Best of luck to you,
keep me posted

As usual Donna, this one is for the books.  You summarized some great points and this post should really be a sticky to all new members.  Great Job! You are an inspiration to many.

Thanks Elina,
My intent is to share with full disclosure so others can hear and decide for themselves.
I consider myself an average person with my own way about me.
If others can learn something from my open sharing of my experiences then I feel like I have paid the vets like you and Frisco back.
Because you guys were my "go to " people in my early days.

Excellent post, Donna!  For myself, I never counted the calories, carbs, etc etc in my vitamins and supplements.  I figured they were doing me much more good than the "harm" the extra calories might cause - and I needed my 600-800 daily calories for actual nutrition, haha!
