OT:Kind of.
sending prayers to you and your mom. i was sleeved on monday and my doctor found 2 hernias that i didn't know i had and he had to repair them along with making my sleeve. so the surgery was longer than expected too. i too was realllllllllyyyyyy out of it pretty much the whole day even when i got up to my room. i made a few comical remarks to my sisters (or so they say since i don't remember) but i also had a post on here under the influence of narcotics that shows just how out of it i was. it's slow and uncomfortable to walk but every day seems better. i'm keeping my eye on the end of the week - and then i'll focus on monday - and then i'll focus on the end of the week. for me i reall y have to keep it in manageable chunks of time or i'll get overwhelmed. hang in there and know that you are not alone. HUGS
ALSO - for me it really helps when i press a small pillow to my stomach when i first start walking - maybe it will for your mom too?

I WILL CERTAINLY KEEP YOUR MOTHER IN PRAYER. I'M EARLY OUT FROM SURGERY AND THE ANAESTHESIA WAS ROUGH ON ME MY MOM AND DAUGHTER HAD THE SAME FEELING THAT YOU HAD. IT HASN'T BEEN EASY SOME DAYS HAVE BEEN A LITTLE HARDER THAN OTHERS. HOWEVER I KNOW THAT WITH MY WEIGHT I WAS NOT HAPPY IN MY SKIN, NOT INCLUDING THE MEDICAL ISSUES. SO PLEASE DON'T SECOND GUESS YOURSELF AT A HAPPIER AND HEALTHIER FUTURE!
