2 days post-op , and I'm in pain

 Didn't expect to hurt so much :/ I am making sure to walk all the time though. 

Sorry to hear that honeyrider!! Did your doctor prescribe any pain meds?? I would not have made it without Roxicet, a liquid form every 4 hours for at least a week. My tolerance level for pain is very low. Hope u feel better soon!!

 I completely understand.  I spent 3 days in the hospital and 2 nights and I used the PCA pump as much as I could.  It made me sleep almost the entire first 2 days.  Sleeping was good but I didn't walk very much until day 3 and then after I got home.

Do you have any pain meds? I also found warm herbal tea to be very soothing early on. And walking. Good luck, this will be a distant memory soon.

I had quite a bit of pain early on as well. Was better by end of week. Gone by week 2. Good luck.

 I'm sorry you're struggling.  The first several days were hard for me too; day 5 was when I started feeling much better.   Take your meds right on time so you can stay ahead of the worst of it and rest.
