I can totally feel your pain. My first week was awful too, and my back and chest, ached terribly with the gas pain. My heating pad was well used during this time. Also light walking around the house didn't help with the gas. It wasn't until I got on my treadmill and walked at a low speed while watching an entire movie, did the pain finally ease off. It lasted 7 days, so hold in there. It will get better. By the end of my second week, I felt great and was back to work, like nothing happened. Just take it one day at a time. It will all be a distant memory soon enough.
