two days out

 I know exactly how you feel!! I had my surgery yesterday morning and I feel terrible. However, I must say I do believe everyone when they say it gets better because last night was a complete nightmare for me and now, eventhough its bad, its not as bad as it was yesterday. Just hang in there.

 I can totally feel your pain. My first week was awful too, and my back and chest, ached terribly with the gas pain. My heating pad was well used during this time. Also light walking around the house didn't help with the gas. It wasn't until I got on my treadmill and walked at a low speed while watching an entire movie, did the pain finally ease off. It lasted 7 days, so hold in there. It will get better. By the end of my second week, I felt great and was back to work, like nothing happened. Just take it one day at a time. It will all be a distant memory soon enough.
