Exercise for the obese
VSG on 07/09/12
As we probably all have experienced, exercising with additional weight can be quite painful and most tiring. Recently, I was given a recumbent bike and used it for the first time tonight. I really think it's something I can enjoy and stick with. What about you?
I love Zumba...you can decide when to increase your output level...and still have fun. I will usually put it in and start it if I really don't feel like working out and say to myself I will jus****ch it for motivation - well I never end up jus****ching it! Five minutes later I totally forget about being tired - in fact, I miss it a lot and look forward to getting back into it in another 1.5 weeks :) - BTW ...even after doing it for two weeks I stayed on the first DVD - the easiest one- so there is def plenty if room for progression.

I'm also doing a Leslie Sansone DVD - Walk Away the Pounds Express. I've worked my way back to the part where I can do one mile and will work my way up to the two mile exercise, then three, etc.
I wish I had room for a recumbent bike or elliptical machine.
A wise person told me to just keep moving, no matter what I choose to do. At this early stage of the game, that's key. As time progresses, I'll be able to do more and more!
I want to take up a Zumba class when I lose a bit more weight. It looks like a blast!
