feeling fat today
I got my costume, the other night, for the dance recital I'm in in May. The costumes run very very small, and most of the women in my class had to send theirs back for 1 to 2 sizes larger. I am in L to XL for tops, but had to get a 2X costume, and it's snug. Go figure. But, all my old fat tapes started going through my head for a bit after, and I found myself thinking "I've gotta lose X number of pounds before the recital!". That kind of thinking in the past only served to make me eat more, so I had to have a heart to heart with myself and tell myself to cut it out!!!
Yes, for sure. That voice telling me that I'm not really 150 pounds but that I'm obese again and if I don't seriously buckle down now & forever more, then I'm a TOTAL failure. Ugh, I hate her.
5'5" Goal reached, but fighting regain. Back to Basics.
Start Weight 246 Goal Weight 160 Current Weight 183

This is tooo freakin funny.
I love me a good pity party!
I run almost every day and can FEEL the muscles under the fat (sigh).
I tell my trainer to show me some exersizes that will shrink my stomach and he says "you just gotta lose weight"....I shot him...in the foot....hoping he gains weight (sigh)
Please add me to the pity party. I am almost 6 weeks out and down only 30lbs. I am following the rules to the t and seem to be at the same weight for a week. I started at 265 and now at 235 and the scale is refusing to move. I went crazy working out today..... I will bring cold water to the party just cos I don't want more calories..., haha!
Ah yes. The stubborn mind/body period. It sucks.
You gotta shake it up a little everyday!
a little more/less calories, a little more/less walking.
It will pass no matter what.
Some bodies are just freaked out at the changes and take a little longer to adjust.
My daughter just went through that last week.
Thankfullly, her mind/body are now back in sync and she started losing again.
She is 4 weeks out.
You will get there...keep the faith.
