Please tell me it gets better....

As I recall, day 2 was the worst day for me, pain-wise. After that, every day got progressively better. Just keep sipping and walk as often as you possibly can. I was harrassing the nurses to let me walk at least six times a day and I promise, it helps (and in my own personal opinion, it helps encourage them to let you go home as soon as possible, haha!)

Sip, walk, sleep; that's all you need to concentrate on right now.

I just have to say ditto to all the comments. I'm 10 days out but the first 3-4 I felt like I got ran over by a Mack Truck. Get plenty of rest, you've have major surgery

I started to feel better around day 4 also. I am still struggling to get all of my water and protein. I generally meet one goal or the other. I can't seem to get them both in to save my life.
