One month out...38 lbs gone forever! And a question...
VSG on 03/08/12
I am almost a month out (3 more days) and I struggle with water and thin drinks too... they make me nausious as well. Such a strange feeling. My nutritionist says that does go away... I hope she is right. I only get in about 40 oz tops lately. Just cannot get it down. The weird part is that when I was on my liquid phase the 2 weeks right after surgery, I was able to get the 64 oz down, plus 2 1/2 protein drinks. But now eating mushies I cannot get the water in.
I hope the advanced sleevers can give us some tips on it.
Thanks for posting.

“Not many of us are living at our best. We linger in the lowlands because we are afraid to climb the mountains. The steepness and ruggedness dismay us, and so we stay in the misty valleys and do not learn the mystery of the hills. We do not know what we lose in our self indulgence. What glory awaits us if only we had the courage for the mountain climb. What blessing we should find if only we would move to the uplands of God.? JRM

SOBE Lifewater is pretty good... the zero calorie ones. It is made with stevia instead of aspartame. Still has an aftertaste, but a different one and I think I am finally used to it. Meijer has it on sale this week for $1.00 a bottle... at least here in Michigan.

Happymom,
I just called my NUT to verify and she said that a protein drink mixed w/ water counts. I got the samples of the nectars that everyone talks about but never tried any. Now that I know that it counts toward my daily intake, I'm going to try them. Might as well kill two birds with one stone, right?
