Ya know, the procdure itself to me isn't a problem.  But this consuming an entire bottle of miralax, 4 ducolax, and a gallon of gaterade is no fun.  6 months ago all of the "prep" didn't work in time, so I started yesterday.  Uh, wondering if I should have started even earlier.  I will be so ticked if I have to repeat AGAIN.  Here's hoping the vsg stomach just plain old has less to clean out and that it won't be an issue!

I had no problem with the prep post-VSG. I followed the directions the GI gave me for the prep and followed the start times he gave. I do think things worked a bit quicker though.  As soon as "things" started coming out clear I stopped drinking the prep.

I had a colonscopy 2 months out from surgery. Everything came out quicker than someone who eats normal amounts of food. I was very worried and was not able to drin.k everything it said to. My system ran clear very quickly. Good luck to you.

Mine's in the fall.  They did the last one 3 yrs early due to issues that were luckily fine.  The prep is the worst, but I had to do the gallon and 1/2 of sludge due to high BP.  Now I can do an easier prep - yea! - as my BP is normal.  Good luck!
