You can do it!!! We celebrated easter yesterday there were so many choices and I actually severed my self then took a min to really think about the food choices I made. After reviewing what I put on my plate I said to my self I don't need this idont need that...I actually got a new plate and re-served my self.

My first plate had mash potatoes, mac n cheese, pasta salad and ham

My second plate had 1 oz of turkey brst,1oz of ham, and 2 asparagus I was happy that I realized I was making the wrong food choices.

Good luck to u!

You can do this.  Just stay mindful of the choices you make and keep your goals close to your thoughts at all times.  Focus on the gratitude you feel in you heart for being given a great gift of this sleeve to help you achieve your goals.  Remember the real meaning of Easter is about renewal, use that knowledge to keep you focused on your personal renewal.  You can do this.  You have this down.

You've absolutely got this. It's weird - I was 2 days after you, so this is like our "first" sleeved holiday (Christmas was easy, was the clear liquid stage). I'm taking a hard-boiled egg to dinner tonight as my emergency protein - they're serving roast beef and ham, neither of which I've had post-op and both of which are still on my "may be difficult" list.

So far so good though, because with Easter brunch, my mother (2 years post-RnY, mind you) served a CAKE. I'm not talking coffee cake, I mean a regular store-bought dessert cake, icing and all. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot???? Thank goodness I had filled up on a scrambled egg and had NO desire for a slice.

Meal number 2 will be easy- I am preparing it so I have built in great choices.

Hope everybody is staying on plan!
