VSG on 04/09/12

I was sleeved on Mondayand came home today. A bit sore and finding it difficullt to get into and out of chairs and bed. I'm getting some of my water in and tomorrow I can go to full liquid diet. I have to learn to give myself injections for a blood thinner. Not sure I'm ready for it.

glad all went well for you..keep working on those liquids...as for the shots....just pinch a little belly fat and do it quickly....after a few times you'll be a pro!

Welcome home!! Hope your recovery is quick and painless!

As for shots...my best advice is don't hesitate...sometimes you'll end up having to stick yourself twice if you do and that just makes it twice as bad. Be strong RareJem...you can totally do this!!!

Glad your home!!!! Each day does get better as I am a week out. The shots I so feel your pain! I learned on this forum to hold the skin and go slow and that worked for me. Each shot is easier and that's not something that I thought I would ever write!
