Does anyone have any good progress pics without having to have plastics?
The plastics pics do look amazing but as you read in my last post I just cant afford them at all after this surgery. Is anyone kind enough to share pics with me after weight loss without any plastic surgery's? If you don't feel comfortable showing them here you can send to my Private email at [email protected] I really hope I can still have success without them due to the cost.
I'm very active but don't go to the gym - my husband is unemployed so we can't afford it. I do some Richard Simmons DVDs, some Leslie Sansone Walk at Home DVDs (with hand weights, resistance bands) and some toning DVDs.
Mostly what I like to do, though, is activities. I like to be out and doing something that pushes me, rather than exercising for the sake of exercise.
A few weeks ago hubs and I rode our bikes 25 miles on a gravel trail. Tomorrow is my first 10k. I can't run due to a knee that won't take the impact, but we will power-walk it. Won't end up with a great time, but I'll know I did it.
My big dream has been to be able to hike wherever I wanted and I'm working toward that now. I can do 20 miles on fairly level trails but am working on my endurance on hills.
Bear in mind that walking to my car put me out of breath pre-op and I limped all the time due to the aforementioned knee. So all this is huge for me. And if I wear Bermuda shorts and shirts with short sleeves (not just caps) you would never in a million years know I had lost 164 lbs even if you knew what to look for.

Nope. Can't stand 'em. If you look really closely you can see the batwings sagging a little, but I'm way, way over that. I'm 50. I've been ginormous. I've earned those batwings the ugly way.
