‎3rd Day home after sleeve for those who are interested. Can't believe that I'm not having some of the issues I keep hearing about. I haven't had any nausea, so I quit taking the anti nausa pills yesterday. Maybe it helped to have them on board just in case for the first few days? Perhaps I might as I add more/different items to my full liquid diet. Don't know. I have been able to get 80grams of protein and 64 oz of fluids (this includes protein drinks) in today. I did discover yesterday that if I sipped to much at one time or too close to together I get more of an intense heartburn type pain and my stomach grumbles about it a lot. Walking helps the pain. I do hurt, more sharply when getting in and out of bed and chairs and when I try to sleep on my side. Things don't really taste any different to me. Haven't had a bm and don't know when to exspect one? Maybe someone can answer that. Overall, I think I'm doing pretty well. Now if my back would quit hurting from sleeping flat on it, I would be really happy.

That is awesome that your feeling so well!  The water should help with the BM!

My surgeon told me to take stool softners after I was discharged on day 3 so it would help with a BM and it did!
Congratulations on being sleeved!

I am almost 2 weeks out tomorrow. My first bm was 4 days out from surgery. My Doctor approved me to take Milk of magnesia but only take half the recommended dose, Of course check with you Dr. first. I still have trouble sleeping on my side and have the same annoying back pain you are experiencing. wish the best for a fast recovery. See you on the loosers bench. I am happy to report to be down 27 lbs post op.
