I think the being able to drink 5 to 10 minutes before meals would help me out alot. I could live with waiting an hour after to drink something, I was just I little more concerned about being able to drink something before. Thank You

The drinking before - I give 5 or 10 minutes. After, I'll wait hours if I can. I feel full until the first swallow of liquid after a meal. I like the full feeling. And I can drink pretty normally so it's not like I need extra time to get my fluids in.

Early out, keep to the guidelines you've been given until it's habit. Then you can play around with what works for you.

Can you take a little sip if something gets stuck?  Sure. But be careful - water and food in our little tummies can mean that something is gonna come back up. There's only so much space in there!

It does become habit.  I used to always reach for tha****er glass every few bites in a restaurant.  Now I don't even notice it.  One thing I do is to always do something to help the moisture in my meat.  For chicken breast I like to squeeze fresh lime on it.  Some people I know use I can't believe its not butter sprays.  You just have to find what works for you.

I wait 5 minutes before, and 45 minutes after. If I try to drink sooner after eating I can get foamies.. it gets stuck on top of the food. I also try not to lube my food.. it makes me fuller sooner not to have the lube.
