Just a vent about cruel people
People are cruel and that is a sad fact. Now if it were me and my smart mouth I would have said I may be fat but I can fix fat - you cant fix stupid!

It really saddens me that you had this experience. It reminds me of a story about a Quaker woman
who was living in an area where there had been multiple attacks on elderly people. She realized she was being followed by a gang of teens when she was coming home from the grocery store. She decided that she was not going to be a victim. So she turned around and asked the boys to help her carry her bags home, and they did. She then cooked them some food, and generally befriended them. I'm not sure if this type of extreme compassion could work for you in this situation. Maybe pick up the discs, and return them to the kids and engage them in some conversation congratulating them about keeping healthy and fit, explaining how much you wish you had done that, and share with them what you are doing now to address your health? Regardless, It is a terrible statement on society when someone has to endure something this horrible. Hugs.....

I totally understand what you are going through!
I had something happen that actually made me cry last week. I had to go outside to get mail from the mailbox, and I'll admit, I was just wearing a tank and sweatpants so I didnt look too good, but a car drove by with some young men (prolly 20s-30s) and I heard loud and clear, "That is one fat-a$$ *****!!!" I felt so horrified!! I just went inside and tried to keep from full-on bawling.
