As stated earlier follow your DR/Nuts orders,  I take a Centrum Daily, and not other supplement other that protein and have had 2 good blood work results since surgery.  Everybody metabolizes things different, so what works for one person may not be good for another.

I went to a metabolic doctor as advised by my surgeon. I had to do bloodwork before I was on solids so he could have a baseline of my vitamin levels. He told me it's better to treat a deficiency before a real problem starts. I'm glad I went because I was deficient in A & D. I also questioned him about taking B12 because I know a lot of people on here take it. He said that since my level was good, I didn't need it.

I would forget what they say and go only by your blood work.  Take whatever your definicent on.  Yeah I like how I'm researching doctors in Mexico for surgery and 1 of the doctor say sleeve patents don't need vitamins (in contrary of course to what everyone else says.)  Who knows what to believe?
