I finally had achieved my perfect Bree Van de Kamp red color two months ago. Well, its gone now. I'm back to my natural color of dark, almost black hair. My surgery is about a month away and I'm going to wait until my hair regulates its growth again before I work on getting my red back. I'm going to miss it

Think positive maybe you won't lose any or very little, either way it will grow back.
Good Luck with your surgery!

I did the same thing... then didn't lose ANY hair or have any issues at all with my hair.
I'm 8 months out. ;P
I kept telling my stylist "don't cut any off! just in case! i'll need length if nothing else!"
I went to semipermanent dye because it was cheaper.
Yeaah. Didn't need to. ;)
Hopefully you won't!

I figured better safe than sorry Plus once I hit Onederland I'm treating myself to a spa makeover including getting my red hair back
