Thaat is exactly what I have done.  I shop Goodwill, salvation army, a local consignment shop, Hospice 2nd hand store.   You have to have the time to look through the often overcrowded racks.  I know what brands fit my body and the colors I like to wear, so that is helpful in narrowing it down.  I just can't pay full price when I know I'm going to shrink out of them soon.

I have always shopped at consignment, thrift or garage sales. I find very nice things and there aint' no shame in my game! HAHAHA! Anyways I wear scrubs on a daily basis and have about 30 pairs in my closed ranging from Med to XL. So I think I will be fine when it comes to that but I still need regular clothes. I have 1 pair of jeans, 1 pair of capri's and 1 pair of shorts that fit me now and nothing smaller so I guess I will be hitting the thrift stores soon myself. Have fun shopping!

I bought a pair of new jeans at fashion bug and I just wear them every. single. day...with a different top to change up the look. I didn't have time to go combing through racks of second hand shops (though I think it's kind of fun so I plan to soon!) and I needed a killer pair to look and feel good wearing. I figure I will only be in them for a month or so (hopefully, maybe 6-7 weeks) so I might as well get some good wear out of 'em!

good idea I bouht 2 jeans, and about 10 tops in a size, had about 3-4  weeks in them, so dont go overboard, as a couple of those items still had tags on them

when I hit goal weight, I am buying an entire new wardrobe, underwear and all. For now, I am actually just using what I have. Stuff I have outgrown I am now growing back into them. I just took three shirts to a tailor to be altered to fit me better. They turned out pretty darn good. So dont overlook alteration to make some of your items last a bit longer than 1-2 months.

Today i took out about a lawn garbage bag full of clothes that no longer fit me. The stuff that was alterable or workable I kept. The rest is gone forever! not only have I lost 85# of fat. But about 40# of wardrobe too!
