Peanuts and Baseball ..

Well I worked the Orioles / Phillie's game today overtime for some extra money on my paycheck and I had nothing with me to eat.  There wasn't mu*****amden Yards that I thought would be very good for me so I decided to get a bag of roasted peanuts.  I was there for 7 hours.  The game went to 12 innings and through out the game I managed to eat the entire bag of peanuts.  Cracking the shell and eating slowly.  Before I knew it they were all gone by the 11Th inning.

That was 950 calories I ate just in peanuts

I haven't messed up in quite a while.  Oh well .. at least I didn't have Reece's peanut butter cups or Tasty-cakes lol.  Still, kinda disappointed in what I did.  Back to the drawing board tomorrow!

P.S. GREAT game!  The O's ended up winning .. which is a plus for me.  Got payed to see an awesome baseball game.

I am very involved with the Phillies farm team (the Lakewood Blueclaws) b/c they are right around the corner from us, so we get season tickets and do birthday parties at the stadium and stuff, they the Phillies treat us very good b/c we support the farm team so much. We end up in a box more often they not when we go out to see the Phillies, which is awesome.

I am actually a Met's fan at heart, but have to root for my Phillies b/c they treat us good LOL

I have to say though that the Phillies fans can be kinda of a rough crowd, so its a good thing your night was easy LOL

Yeah they were yelling and screaming and chanting a lot but no fights or anything.  That stuff happens when the Yankee's and sometimes Boston come down, especially the yankee fans.  They get drunk and rowdy big time.  Apparently, its cheaper for NY and Boston fans to come to Baltimore to see the games then it is in their own stadiums.  Kinda crazy.  Because of that though, we always have tons of outside fans at our games and today it seemed like it was about 50/50 O's fan to Phillies fans.  At least it was a sold out game.

Aw, I know it stinks to feel like you let yourself down on your food today, but just get back to your plan tomorrow.

I personally can think of some poorer choices than peanuts, but I know that was probably more calories/fat/carbs than you wanted in your day.

Would probably be a good idea to think about how today could have gone better and formulate a plan for what you can do differently if you decide to work another game.

Glad you got to see a great game anyhow!

Best,
Lindsey

Maybe a burger no bun would be okay next time? You know the routine, don't let a set back be a pattern, get back on the horse tomorrow. You are doing great! !

Sigh, at least someone's favorite team is winning

Like you said, peanuts weren't the best but they certainly weren't the worst

Yeah, my Twins aren't doing that great this year either, so at least someone on here is having a good season...although I wi**** were me.

I always hate how nuts have so many calories for so little food.  Then of course they have to taste delicious too.
