I'm also in the full liquids stage which is cream soups (without pieces), light yogurt (without pieces) and sf pudding along with all liquids. My NUT said not to worry about carbs until 6 weeks when the healing process was complete then we'd starting making those changes to my diet. Right now the main goal is to get the protein and liquids in, however I can.

Prettyeyes has the right idea ^^^

When your as early out as you I personally woudlnt worry about it too much.  There are only very few things that you can have and cream soup is one of them.  I had it several times a day and I have lost weight just fine I think.  Worry more about the calories and carbs when your a little further out.  Right now your just worrying about letting your new sleeve heal up.  You won't be eating enough of it to really matter anyway.

I agree with Prettyeyes and Kevin,

At your stage I didn't think twice about carbs.  Its so important that you take the transition slow, your main concern should be hydration and protein.  I loved cream of chicken with garlic, could only do 1/4 cup at a time.

Good luck!  Don't over think it right now!  Sip sip sip...

Cream soups were what my surgeon wanted me to eat at first. I made them with protein-added milk. I lived on cream of potato soup for about a week. I alternated that with shot glasses of protein shakes. Your intake will be so little at this point that it isn't going to hurt you. Also, the warmth of the soups soothed my stomach.

Cream soups won't or shouldn't be on your menu in a few short weeks. Right now, it's about things that are easy for the stomach to digest while it is healing.
