Day two of being sleeved. Still in the hospital:/ I had a hernia they fixed while they were in there that I didn't know Aabout. Thanks everyone for all the support!

Congrats! Tough out the next few days, you'll feel better soon. When I read my discharge note I found they also fixed a hiatal hernia. Don't know how big it was, didn't have GERD before, but perhaps with my new tiny tummy it was big enough to slip through.

Yea that's what happened with me. My stomach is so bloated from the gas!

It's actually pretty common for doctors to fix a hernia if they find one when they go in to do the sleeve. It can make recovery a little tougher for the first few days to a week or so, but the good news is you got two surgeries knocked out in one day, and you'll be all healed up in no time.
