Link for Dr. C post op nutrition?
Hi,
I tried doing a search for this but the link I found doesn't seem to be working anymore. I've posted before that I am doing the low carbing thing, and would like to continue doing it but my surgeon's office doesn't follow that program. I feel like I am doing really well on this path, but I was just wondering if anyone might have a link to a more in detail plan?
Here's what I'm currently doing: 600-800 cals or less, 40g carbs or less, (I'm more often under 20) and 60-80g of protein or more. That is about all I know.
I'm also starting to get more exercise in, and very recently (like, yesterday) have started adding weight training. From what I've read, I should just up my protein based on this plan, right?
I also have no trouble getting water in, I average at least 14 cups a day. Thanks for your help
P.S. I should probably add on the days I get closer to 800 cals I really beat myself up about it
Am I being a bit hard on myself, or at this stage should I really not be getting close to that 800 cal mark? Thanks again

If that's what you're doing, you're doing what all the Dr. C patients told me. Plus, don't overthink it (thank you, Frisco).
It is easy to add food, and hard to give it back. I would never advise anyone to beat themselves up over food (it's really just another way of using, IMHO), but I personally think you're doing yourself a big favor to keep the calories low at this point.
