3 months out (pics of course)
Today marks 3 months since I was sleeved. I don't believe that I would have made the progress I have made, mentally or physically, without this surgery.
Before surgery I honestly did not realize how much I was using food to numb my feelings, I thought I was just a volume eater. Now I'm learning new ways of coping with feelings and other things without numbing my feelings with food or other substances.
Things are pretty much back to normal now. Work is back to being crazy, I'm back to always being busy, the only difference is now I actually have the energy for it. I would encourage anyone who is thinking about having this surgery to really evaluate where you are mentally before doing this. I am definitely happy with my decision, but I'm not sure I could do this without all the counseling, real life, and OH support I receive.
And now for the pics...

I can already tell some of the places I am going to want plastics (holy batwings batman), and I'm a little disappointed about my unrelenting double chin, but altogether I'm a much happier healthier person. I look forward to the rest of my journey
