I know this has nothing to do with weight loss surgery, but would really love your opinion. My husband and I are adopting and are having a hard time with deciding on names. We are trying to decide between a few middle names that go well with Kyle. We narrowed it down too a few, but are having a hard time choosing. What do you think? Kyle Donovan, Kyle Nicholas, or Kyle Liam? Thanks for the help!

I'm so glad you like Donovan. That's the name my husband likes the least. He thinks its weird to use a last name as a middle or first name. I told him people do it all the time. Most people I know say Donovan because it has meaning. I was just wodering what other people thought of it as well. Thanks for the reply! :)

I adopted a boy also. What we decided on was using my husbands middle name as my sons middle name. It took us a month to come to a decision. But I do like the name of kyle donovan.

You survived what you thought would kill you. Now straighten your crown and go forward like the Queen you are!

Donovan has a good deep meaning so you might want to go with that. However, I LOVE the name Liam so much. (Hubby not so fond of it so we named our LO Levi)
Kyle Donovan does have a good ring to it thought. BTW
CONGRATSSSS!!!!!!!!!

Thank you synthangel! We are super excited! Liam is the name my husband likes the most! Liam is a nice name. Not sure if I wanna go with it though. I love the way it sounds, but I like the meaning behind Donovan. I just didn't know if Donovan was too strong of a name to be used as a middle name? It's definitely not like Mason or Rielly, or other last names like that which can be easily used as a first or middle name.
Donovan! It used to be really common for people to use the woman's maiden name for their boy's middle names. I used to work in archives going back several years - seems it was pretty common until the 40's or 50's.
I think it would be great to honor your family that way, besides.... he'll have your husband's last name, why can't he have Donovan as the middle name? It will actually mean something.
