What a sad day for both you and the ex friend. I'm so sorry this happened to you. Better things are coming. Hope the same for the ex-friend, but right now it doesn't look good for someone who texts a dump instead of picking up the phone and saying he is afraid of your strength and has to hide from you. I agree with the others, you are better off without that dead weight. You just lost major weight!!

It may not feel good right now, but I truly believe that this is good for you!!

I know it doesn't seem so at the moment, but someone who would dump you for trying to improve your health and take control of your weight and life is not someone who is going to be a supportive partner.  Keep focusing on you, and one of these days, you'll meet someone who is supportive of your choices and what you're trying to do for yourself.  Lots of hugs!
