I love chips and salsa,  Salsa is great but the chips are definitely off limits,  anyone have any ideas for a good substitute.

I know alot of newbies aren't able to do this yet, but I am asking the vets.

How about zucchini slices? This works for me.... especially since cheese can be a slider for me. (I do use the Fat Free cheddar to make "tostadas" when the rest of the fam is having them).

I use cucumber slices...I know not the same. But, the crunch is there!!

I'm with Donna. I use cucumber slices with the peel left on. Crunchy, crunchy and the peel is hard to digest so they stay in old sleevie for a long time before moving on. I get to stay full for very few calories. Broccolli dipped in salsa works very well for me, too.

I love the cheese crisps, but.... cheese is pretty much a slider for me and I can eat a ton of those little buggers. Like chips, one just isn't enough! I make them only as a rare treat now.

I love chips & salsa too.. and I have not tried this, so no idea if it would work.. but I used to fry my own taco shells & such.. but what about taking those low-carb tortillas, cutting them, spraying with some oil (better than frying) and sprinkling with salt, or salt & spices- then bake in a low oven till crisp?

I may try this and see if it works. I use low-carb wraps now sometimes, so I have a package in the fridge.. I'll post back and let you know if it worked.
