Wasn't thinking...

I wasn't thinking today. I was told before not to have seeds or nuts for 12 weeks post op, because of the damage they can do to the staple line. I had some strawberries today. I am seven weeks out. Does anyone have any idea if this is something that can do damage??

You are fine with those. They're tiny.

Have a happy Thursday!

I was never told that and had both with no problems.

Okay, it just spooked me, because I have been trying to do everything as accurately as I can. Thanks!

I understand your concern. I would follow the advice I was given and not have seeds or nuts again until after you pass the 12 week mark. The reasoning is that you don't want to have a seed get stuck in the staple line and irritate the healing staple line and cause damage to the tissue that is trying to heal.
Nothing you can do about what has already come to pass. Just be careful in the future.
