Looking thru the fridge, humm no wonder they're all thin...

 I'm currently working as a nanny. I started his job when I was 1 year out and tripped on how my thin healthy bosses ate the exact same **** I did. Our fridge and cupboard contents are identical. Then this weekend I baby sat or some friends of mine. They're both thin and very active, I hadnt had dinner so I started to wander through the kitchen and what do I find....
Trader joes cooked chicken breast
Meduim and sharp organic cheeses, the same clover and tj brands
Sugar free jello and puddings
Tons of fresh veggies
Clombus sliced meats
Nuts of all kinds
Whole grain crackers
All natural pb
Double fiber wheat bread

Its my fridge to the T... Funny I always thought all these folks just lucked out and were born and remained thin by some evil higher power that hated me..... Guess even the skinny *****es gotta work at it! Oh and their calander had palates and spin scheduled all over the place. Now maybe some day I'll get on that bandwagon, eh... Maybe not.

It depends. I have a 1st cousin who eats ridiculously and has always been a beanpole. I have a 2nd cousin (female) who eats ridiculously and will not exercise "under any cir****tance" and has always been a beanpole. These are blood cousins. I have an uncle who has lived off of strcitly fried chicken and vanilla ice cream since he had heart surgery at the age of two. Out of 8 siblings, he's the only one who never had a weight problem and has always been fit while the rest were eating vegetables. Then, I have relatives who have to work to stay thin. That's life. You work with what you get.

What I find funny is that the things that genetically trigger weight increase are always the things you love the most. Carbs and I are no good together but I'll take a roll and some fries over a steak any day. If only carrots and celery made me gain weight, I'd be a supermodel...

yeah, when I realized that all my skinny friends watch what they eat like ALL the time so they can splurge every once in a while, my whole world changed. It was sort of a wake up call....

Sort of depressing, too, because I always thought I was just cursed. Had to own up to the fact that I ate enough for two people most of the time! Sucked!

But, at least now I get it! (Says he who still hasn't broken 750 calories for the day!)
