Hey everybody. So heres what, we all come here for advice, help and support and I think you all are just awesome. I'm making this post because I think it will help everybody if they were to respondand also I think it would make a point.
What most of us ask each other is all about what we eat, how much and what were doing to lose weight and I know personally since I'm getting closer to goal all people ask me how I did that.
The thing is as we all know we are all different and different things will work for every single 1 of us. plus none of us are following the exact same kind of plan as we have to individualize it for ourselves. I've been on this site long enough that I could probably say the only thing on 100 percent of us would agree on in that field of what we eat is about the subject of protein and how important it is.
So, for fun and a ton of helpful info I thought we could ask respond to this post by saying how far out we are, how much weight we've lost and what we eat on a typical day. Also think it would be cool if you know yurt average numbers (cabs, protein etc)to list them along with your single best piece of advice and your biggest weakness or area your trying to work on.
Do how about it? We all know that our portions, numbers and diets differ so lets share in our diversity. I'll start.

I'm 10 months out, sleeved 11/1/11. I've lost 190 lbs total and heres my typical day right now.
-whey protein shake w 1/2c berries frozen when wake up
-another shake after my daily workout
-2 eggs with a piece sausage
-can of tuna
-chicken or pork w veggies
-2-3oz almonds, 2 oz cheese
-nighttime protein shake
-either a couple hard boiled eggs o or some plain greek yogurt Isweeten myself

The only thing I count anymore is carbs and I'm between 30-60 gm/day
Best advice is cut carbs and eat Real whole ros foods.
My weakness and area to work on iss adding back theright kinds of foods that won't trigger my sugar/carb addiction and being brave enough to know it's okay to make mistakes.

okay, who's next? Lets keep this going and see how much we can learn from each other!

I am three months out and have lost 52 lbs since surgery

My day:

Breakfast: protein shake 60 grms protein
coffee (I have one cup a day)

Snack: cheese stick 7 grms protein
4 grapes/8 raspberries/1/2 apple (some kind of fruit)

Lunch: 1/2 cup baby romaine
1 oz low fat feta/1 oz turkey breat/1 oz roast beef/2 oz ground beef extra lean
1 tble low calorie balsamic dressing

Pre Workout: 1 ISO femme protein bar

Dinner: 1 to 2 oz low fat feta/1 oz turkey breat/1 oz roast beef/2 oz ground beef extra lean

a minimum of 64 oz of water daily

Protein over 80 grms a day some days I hit 100 grms and carbs under 50 grms most days I am under 40 grms of carbs.
If I don't make my 80 grms of protein by evening I will have a protein shake to bump it.
I stick to between 800 and 1000 calories a day, but one day a week I will usually go up to about 1100 - 1200 - that would have been a work out day where I burn at least what I eat over the 1000 calories.

Okay! I'm 9 months out and have been at goal almost two months.  I'm 98 pounds down (108 from my all time high of 278).  Average day for me:  Protein coffee for breakfast Greek yogurt w/ 1/4 cup berries for snack 3oz chicken, 1/3 cup veggies for lunch 1oz beef jerky for snack (sometimes I'll add 10 almond or add a hard boiled egg- depends on hunger level) 1 protein shake post work out 3oz chicken, beef, fish, etc... 1/3 cup veggies, 2 TBS polenta, grits, or sweet potato.  1 cup yogurt for a nighttime snack.   I add salad dressing, olive oil, avocado to my meals for extra calories mot days, but not a lot.    I'm pushing to get 1500 calories in each day and it's not always easy. It takes a bit of work.

Perfect...... far from it.....

My surgeon recently lifted the lifelong ban on carbonation if your in maintenance, over a year out and understand what's going on..... in fact there isn't anything really that he doesn't approve of..... just as long as you are weighing correctly, eating right and labs are good. He gives us all the tools and warnings of what can happen and wants us to re-establish a healthy normalcy.

I drink an occational soda (not the six pack a day like pre-op) always flat and with an open Pyloric.

Almost 2 years out.  Sleeved 11/22/10. Down 142 firmly.  In maintenance since December 2011 and continued to lose till stabilized 20+ under inital goal.  During WL I did 600-800 Cals per day w/80+ Protien and 40 Carbs or under.

In maintenance I do 1,200 cals per day 80+ protein and 80-100 carbs per day.  Yesterday I ate as follows:

Black Coffee before breakfast
B: RTD protein shake w/Click protein added
S: 2 slices bacon
L: Ham/provolone pocket on thin whole grain pita bread
S: Greek yogurt w/fruit & Granola
D: Elina's green chicken soup

Best advice:  Weigh/measure EVERTHING and undereat your capacity...satisfied is good, there is no need to be full to miserable.

Weakness:  There are soooo many - Chocolate Chunck Cappucino Frozen Yogurt from Braums; Dark chocolate covered espresso beans from Trader Joe's - evil carbs...

Excellent game and I hope it helps!
