"Keep doing what you're doing!"
I had my 3 month follow up with Dr. McGill this morning. I'm still right on target. I've lost 38% of my excess weight (48 pounds). I haven't had complications, and it's been a satisfying slow but steady trend downward. He warned me that the next 3-5 months might be a little stall-y, but not to focus on the scale and just keep doing what I'm doing. The most dramatic weight loss generally happens 6-9 months out, he's found.
To be honest, I have zero complaints of where I am. I feel GREAT - physically and emotionally. I have to wear a belt because my waist is actually smaller than my hips now. Size 18 jeans are comfortably loose. I can run, weight-life, swim, garden, attend all-day festivals, etc. So everything from now on is a super bonus.
I'll just keep on doing what I'm doing!
And I need a smaller bathing suit.
